Make a $1,300 Aurelie Bidermann 18-karat lace cuff bracelet for LESS THAN $15!

While searching for doin' it yourself inspiration, I came across this beautiful lace cuff bracelet by Aurelie Bidermann!  If you've been following this blog for any amount of time you KNOW that I love me some LACE!  I've already done several lace projects but none are THIS fabulous!  This bracelet is stunning!  Not only is it LACE, but it's a statement piece!  It's extremely unique and not many people are going to be wearing it...mostly because of the $1,300 price tag...

When I saw this cuff, my wheels immediately stated spinning!  I HAD to figure out how to make one of these!  I knew it wasn't going to e easy, but alas! I figured it out!  And I must admit, the Nik Scott version looks pretty darn spiffy!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
White lace fabric
Fabric stiffener
Parchment paper
Paper towel roll
Gold spray paint
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Cut about a 4" wide piece of lace that fits almost around your wrist.
2. Drench the lace with fabric stiffener.
3. Cover your paper towel roll with parchment paper - this will be the form for your cuff.
4. Wrap the wet lace around the form and allow to dry completely.
5. Remove your cuff from the form and spray paint it gold.
